Global Spectrum, managers of University of Phoenix Stadium, in conjunction with Kachina Kennel Club, announced that the Stadium will host it’s first-ever dog show April 3-5, 2009.  The Kachina Kennel Club Dog Show, featuring over 2,000 purebreds, will include all breed conformation, junior showmanship, and obedience/rally and agility (pending AKC approval) competitions.

The three-day event will be a family affair and include elements and entertainment for dog lovers of all kinds. The show will feature dog show tours, meet the breed, and educational opportunities for adults and children alike.  In addition, over 50 vendors will be showcasing products and services for dog care, grooming and more.

“Dog shows have an incredible following and the Kennel Club and stadium staff can’t wait to host this event”, stated Peter C. Sullivan, General Manager for Global Spectrum at University of Phoenix Stadium.  “We’ll have the ability to grow the event from its present location and host it in an atmosphere its patrons and participants will enjoy.”
